Solidarity Union spreads its wings

Solidarity is spreading! The independent nationalist trade union Solidarity, now well-established in Britain, is delighted to announce the recognition of its Flemish ‘sister’ union, the VSV (‘Flemish Solidarity Union’). Nationalists in Belgium have struggled for some years to form a trade union and to take part in the country’s important social elections, but have been stopped from doing so by a closed shop agreement imposed by Belgium’s three unions, each linked to one of the country’s old political parties.

The effective ban on the establishment of a patriotic Flemish trade union is, however, now over – thanks to Solidarity, with a little help from European law. This forbids discrimination within the EU in the provision of goods and services. Since a trade union provides services to its members, this means that the Belgian state cannot refuse to recognise either Solidarity or the VSV, which is operating under Solidarity’s protective umbrella. The official agreement will be signed at a ceremony in the Flemish Parliament in Brussels tomorrow morning.

In this video, Nick Griffin MEP hosts a discussion about this historic step forward for positive and constructive nationalist co-operation with Pat Harrington, General Secretary of Solidarity, and Rob Verreycken, President of Flemish Solidarity. Other nationalist parties in other countries are studying this development with great interest and it is hoped that, in due course, it will be possible to establish a confederation of nationalist trade unions across Europe.

Justice for Charlene – Karen Downes Full Interview

As the eighth anniversary of the disappearance of English schoolgirl Charlene Downes approaches, British National Party Chairman Nick Griffin talks with Charlene’s mother Karen about the tragic case of her daughter’s murder and continued fight for justice.

In the half-hour interview, Karen tells the story of Charlene’s disappearance, the shocking details of her murder, which she first read about in a newspaper, and the disgraceful miscarriage of justice that saw the accused men, Mohammed Reveshi and Iyad Albattikhi, walk free and receive compensation payouts of £250,000 each despite overwhelming evidence against them, including recordings in which they reportedly boast and joke of Charlene’s murder.

The British National Party will be demonstrating in Charlene’s hometown of Blackpool on Tuesday 1 November, the date of her abduction, to campaign for a re-trial of the defendants and get Justice for Charlene.
