Spotlight on London’s Cabbies

Not everything about diversity is beneficial. Evidence of the social ills caused through overcrowding and over population can be seen in the struggle for the lucrative taxi trade on London ’s streets. The cake can only be sliced a finite number of times, and when workers’ incomes are severely reduced, disgruntlement is inevitable. Acting London Organiser Christopher Roberts and Assembly member Richard Barnbrook spoke to London cabbies as they carry out the first of a planned series of demonstrations.

Where is the Health and Safety stasi when they are GENUINELY needed?

Absolutely brilliant, the stuff that goes on in this country that the people have no idea about is massive. Perhaps the BNP could also look at the plight of the British hauliers who have to cope with the Eastern European haulage industry who have the benefit of being able to work so much cheaper than their UK counterparts. With cheaper fuel, no road tax to pay whilst here and often running illegal vehicles, and now they can do more cabotage (work internally in the countries they visit). If the same is going on with the cabbies as it is for the hauliers then they have my support here and now. Good luck to you all! And keep protesting – wish the truckers would do the same.

What are the police doing about this ? are they able to police any-more or are they drowned in the revenue quick buck mentality ?

Give back the police the resources to investigate these crimes and stop making monkeys out of them with revenue jobs.

Keep up the good work BNP & the legal cab drivers.
