BNP Conference 2007 Motion One Debate

Delegates debate the issue of police surveillence.

Motion #1: This conference believes that BNP policy should be to abolish the use of automatic number plate recognition cameras and vehicle tracking transponders for the use of traffic policing. This is not simply a question of ‘motorists’ rights’ as opposed to law enforcement, but rather a fundamental question of freedom, privacy and the relationship between the Citizen and the State.

The problem is that nothing can be done about this until the BNP are in power & then the cameras can be used for the correct purposes against law breakers.

But as somebody said if BNP’s other policies were in effect this wouldn’t be a problem as the terrorists, groomers, drug dealers & the like wouldn’t be in this country anyway.
